03rd Sept Saturday

A good day to start the month of September. 3 regular with 1 new kaki came on board. We had 2 whopper KBL.

We put back 7 smaller groupers back to the sea. Kaki were happy & booked for next trip on the 15th Oct Saturday.

They told me from tomorrow onwards till 15th Sept bring my kakis to fish Ah Seng only. More terror than the previous group because they only told me 3 days before their trip, teach my kakis to fish Ah seng.......

By the way, the Arumugam grouper ( Johnson )is about 11 ins long. A new record..

04th Sept SUNDAY

1 regular kaki came with 3 Japanese friends. They couldn't do bottom well because they love luring & spend most of the time luring.

We caught a 3ft long Todak. Photo yet to post out as they C&R the Todak before I took the picture. But the Japanese kaki took a shot with his camera.

Raining heavily in the afternoon. Overall was bad day. We C&R more than 10 smaller gropers. The rest of the day was NO BITE, NO BITE, NO BITE.

05th Sept MONDAY

Today is a better day.

We had 3 new kakis came on board. First spot = 0. Second spot = 1
Third spot = 3............is already 12.30pm

Heavy rain around 1pm. Until 3.30pm, we had another 2 more mini mini.

Things changed after that.. fishes started coming in.......

Kakis were nice guys. Already booked for next trip..

Overall a very enjoyable and enriching experience for me and my peeps and all thanks to our dear boatman Uncle David. 07th Sept Wednesday

Regular Mr. A & his son & friend came today. We went out around 9am.

Morning catch was OK till about 2.45pm. Everything was super slow to almost stopped.

Close to 5pm. I decided to go a last location which I have not gone for ....at lease 2 years. I dropped, 2 seconds, super solid pull, missed...........than I got fishes, kakis got fishes.

Half hour, made us all happy man & nice ending of the day.

09th Sept FRIDAY

Denial K came 2 weeks ago & today he came with 3 kakis on board. We set off at 8.15am.

We went straight to the location which I went on the 6th Wednesday as the last location. Good fishing. Afternoon we went to our second location for 15 minutes, no bite, than to the third location...........good fishing again.

We put back more than 10 smaller groupers to the sea. I wanted to put in my net at the fish farm bur it was too far to go.

kakis were happy & booked for Oct Sunday

10th Sept SATURDAY

4 new young kakis. Nice guys except one Mr. " Cool ". Doesn't talk much.

Biting rate is only so so today for kakis but good for me. Missed quite a few good pulls & one in particular.. hooked on, pump.......man....It was heavy, the fight & pull was serious, suspect Big grouper...This one going to be HUGE...I know.....

Off hook, Shxx.......Damm..........What the...........

Kakis were happy & booked Oct Sunday.

Forgot to mention it rain from 2pm onwards & we put back many smaller groupers to the sea..........

11th Sept SUNDAY

Mr. E.T. came again. One man fighter. But very very sad & disappointed to say that today was a bad day. Really NO BITE most of the time despite I changed spots & locations many many times...

Mr. E.T. was still happy to to tell me..... No worries, We will catch it in OCT & NOV..... because he had booked for OCT & NOV already..I really felt very very pai seh.

He even bought an expensive gift for me..... I owe him big time, in fishing wise. I told him so sorry for not catching bigger once as Sea Dragon King never give me " Face " today..........

As usual, he doesn't like taking picture, not even the fish. We had 7 groupers landed. Small to mid. Missed a few good hook up & off hook.........By the way, he is 60 years young.

12th Sept MONDAY

No fishing today. Wash the boat & clean up.



13th Sept TUESDAY in advance

Booked by " J " but when I call him today 12th Sept, he told me cannot make it. Luckily I called him, I asked him why didn't he let me know ? he said he only knew it yesterday.............

Well all kakis, if you need to cancell, MUST let me know first hand, first minute right away as I do not receive deposit from any of the kakis. Especially the cancellation is only one day before the fishing day & found out by me. Honestly, is not good & not nice at all.

If inform me early, I may able to get new kakis to fill up the slot.

I am thinking may be I should impose the deposit rule.

14th Sept Wednesday

Regular Jay brought 3 new kakis today. 2 newbies & 1 experienced.

Early session was not bad. Then it came the heavy rain......... slow down a lot & later managed to catch some more groupers.

Wasn't bad I would say. Hooked one MJ about 900g. I was hoping to get a KBL but no luck

16th Sept FRIDAY

Super regular Jerry & friends on board today.

We had a good first session until the tide started going down, the bite rate started downwards also.

We had the highest biting rate on biggies today including hook-on & off-hook, heavy pull, pump & missed............
Unfortunately only one biggie grouper landed but the rest were OK size.

Overall was OK. kakis were happy. Already booked on the 15th Oct

17th Sept SATURDAY

2 new kakis ( brothers )saw my FK site & came on board today

We had quite a good catch rate but not big once. Larges was about 850g.

Hooked on a very heavy one & the leader went burst. This rig was not done by me but my other kakis. If I only used my Dupont 30 or 40 lbs line for rig it should not happen this way.

They were pleased with the catch. See then soon.

17th Sept SATURDAY

WARNING !!

A guy called himself Sabestian Wee HP : 83309877 booked today for fishing 2 weeks ago. 3 days ago I started calling him but phone line cut. He did not called..........

I managed to get the 2 brothers to fill up the slot.

I have asked all 3 Telcos. If I made a Police report, they could help me to check because all SIM card were registered. From the HP number & SMS they could find out who the person was.

18th Sept SUNDAY

2 regular with 1 new kaki came. Missing one regular because he was very sick & rest at home.

Did not have a good start at all but quite an exciting & fun ending with OK catch.

They have booked Oct Sunday

19th Sept MONDAY

5 new kakis came today. We had quite a small but steady good start early in the morning.

Super heavy rain around noon. We still had steady catches. A lot of mid snappers. The larger once were Parrot, MJ, Red snapper, Grouper, Sweet Lips.

Not bad for the day

Thanks for the splendid trip yesterday. We enjoy ourselves alot during the trip cuz of good boatman, good weather overall, considerable CR in SG waters. Would recommend to others.

Ps: hope u dun mind that we not very keen in taking photos. Think we dun like our tired faces to be shown on e web. ^^

hi dave...i think it's time to collect deposit from those who have book the trip with you..it's more secure to you....doing this is to protect yourself from being put aeroplane again..cheers..

20th Sept TUESDAY

Finally Mr. A is here after trying to book for few times. 2 more kakis came with him. Fresh in boat fishing, I was hoping they don get sea sick.

We went at 9am. Rain came in around 10am + & super rain & strong wind came second time around 11am+. We had only 3 mini. Not until the last hour we had few more goodies. clients were happy & booked end of this month.

They even brought me 4 packet of coffee & makan
