A & I came on the 18th Jan & decided to come again today, with a new kaki.

We went straight to the special location that had big pulled for few days. Yes, sweet lips & grouper landed in less that 15 minutes.

Than the wind started to blow, stronger & stronger. Water a little choppy. The boat started to drift left & right, here & there............ plus the strong current..... oh man, no way to fish on the right spot. try Paris Ris, try Loyang, try Changi near Frog Island, not much improvement.

Went behind Ubin & it turned out better. KBL, snapper, had few good hooked on but half way up sangkut

Going down tide was very strong, No bite since 3pm plus. We called it a day around 4.30pm. By the way, we put back 4 smaller grioupers back to the sea.

26th Jan THURSDAY

Today forgot to take fish photo & kaki photo.

Kenneth & 2 other kakis were all new to my baby boat. We went out 8am plus.

To my old KBL spot. Less than 10 minutes, first big pull, rod all the way down, where was the kaki ??? He was sitting at the front of the boat tying rig. Rushed back to the rod, too late. Man................always like that, when ever we pay 100% attention, no bite. When we just let a few seconds loose, fish bite....

Before 1pm we already landed smaller groupers, mid size snapper, not forgetting few good hooked-on but sangkut.

Went behind Ubin, no bite on KBL pot. landed 2 good size groupers, one moral eel & as usual, few good pumped & snagkut & off hook.

Kaki were fun loving guys. Be seeing then soon.

27th Jan FRIDAY

Another cancellation today only 1 day notice. Called Wednesday, said cancelled Friday.

Lately, many people including boatmen asked me or telling me staff.........

" Where do I fish all the time ? Are you sure there were big pulls ? And there is this " Famous " boatman who love to Talk Big, Talk Loud & Talk Bad. One who thinks he is always right, never wrong, he is the best in almost everything but not other people, & mentioned my name again.....How do we know ???? By guessing ??......NO no no..... All words came out from his mouth...I heard by my own ears too many times.....


OK................My fishing location has No secret. Bigger boat will never stop there. Even smaller boat dare not stop there. Because is very dangerous to the boat & the inboard and / or outboard. ( Not the kakis ) Dangerous in the sense that the boat WILL GET knock, get bang, get hit, get deep cut, damage....from left size, right side, bottom of the boat & even at the top, look at the condition of my baby boat & the new engine cover you will know. Especially the right hand side.

If I dare to put in FK regarding big pulls, every single word is TRUTH. Ask my kaki...

As for the " 3 BIG TALK " boatman ( I named him ) No need to say much. Time will tell. people has ears, eyes, brain & heart.

My concern IS making sure all my kakis are happy & satisfy, with good CR..........Most importantly, become my super regulars & introduce more kakis to my baby boat.........

David!! U can tell from the return response of ur customers!! Every time we can tell u dun really care bout ur boat n just want kaki to get good fishes!! Appreciated!!

28th Jan SATURDAY

Really happy to see my old school mate came on my baby boat today. The person who booked the boat was J. Four kakis came & My old school mate L was one of them.

Weather was good today but not the water. No bite every where. Despite that, we managed to land some goodies even though it wasn't biggies.

I really had tried hard to let kakis to get something but I knew in my heart it would not be easy today. However, kakis did missed few times good pulled & sangkut / off hook.

Hope to see them soon.

29th Jan SUNDAY

Alex, Cartoon Junior B & P came today. Last time they came was 2 months ago.

8.05am. They arrived. Happy to meet each other. I told them about the water yesterday & today might be the same condition.

Went to try KBL & grouper....NO BITE ! Went another KBL spot....NO BITE also.

Than to the next location...........started to bite, yes....landed KBL....another KBL.....groupers...snappers.......biting time not more than 30 minutes. We waited longer but still no more bites.

To Loyang.....= O. To Changi....snappers. Try again KBL & groupers locations that we went this morning.....NO BITE !!!!!

Alex were a little disappointed because he did not really pulled in a good one...... I felt bad too.

But good things was this the first time they got KBL after few trips with me. We broke the KBL spell... By the way, P was the Mr. silent & Mr. Cool but today he was singing, laughing, joking, talk much more than usual.... hahaha...... may be it was the new girl friend.........................

30th Jan MONDAY

The Sweet lips is quite big but put beside Mr. Seng it looked like small fish. The Ah Seng is really very huge...... biggest so far landed on my baby boat...

Azli & relatives, all five of them, all new kakis came today. I told them the water was very cold today. Biting rate will be low.

Truly, we tried many locations & spots & only 2 locations really landed fishes & missed quite a number of hooked-on but sangkut or off hook. Few of them were really big pulls...

Kakis were all very nice guys, but must listen to my tips & do it the next time, use simple apolo type with single hook. size max : 1/0 of use size 1. No need to use 2/0 or even 3/0.

31st Jan TUESDAY

A KBL to open JANUARY month & ending of JANUARY month with another whooper KBL....

A & I came on the 18th & 25th & he brought a new kaki today. Due to the tide, we set off at 9am this morning.

When I reached the marina, I touched the water & it was very cold, I thought to myself, another no bite day.

It was no bite from noon onwards. Changed locations & still no bite. But luckily we landed some goodies in the morning session.

Lucky A caught a KBL on the 25th Jan & today he landed another bigger KBL... he was so happy......

By the way, behind UBIN could give a long rest already. Now even other boaters & boatman came to the location & checked it out.

Oh yes, The best catch of the day was from ME, uncle Dave..............a whooper big fat puffer fish:lol:
