Pardon me if i ask too much.
- What's a cheapest Fly Fishing Set-Up available?
- Which Tackle shops has Fly Fishing Equipment?
- What are 2wt, 3wt, 4wt, 5wt Fly Rods?
- Or any info that the pros can provide to help this newbie.

Cheap? $300? Check out Coho, they have a well stocked range of fly fishing gears and fly tying materials as well. The weight of the fly rods are meant to be used with the same weight of fly lines generally and this translates to a lighter line for lighter flies and shorter distances as well as lighter poundage. Generally, you can start off well with either a 5wt for freshwater and about 7 to 8wt for saltwater. Go down to Coho and look for Henry. If he's free, he can even conduct casting lessons for you. |
