Hi guys, new to surfcasting. Need some advice. Recently recieved a Abu Ambassadeur 4500cs Pro Rocket. Was wondering if the reel is capable of surfcasting/surf fishing paired with most probably a 13ft rod. Thanks alot for the advice.

Light line for surf fishing is possible.

Line capacity may not be enough for sports casting.

You can get around 260m of .25mm line on a 4500, so ok for casts up to about 200m. If you cast further, get ready to start running down the field when the reel is almost empty to avoid a break off
