Was there luring for 3 1/2 hours on Saturday afternoon, 2 hits but landed nothing. What bait/lure you used to catch the 七星刀??? I don't think it take popper right?

i hit the 七星刀 under the MRT track there i did nt go to the jetty..
becos i always go to the jetty nv kena fish 1..haha..

Was telling my fren abt your hit on the 七星刀 but he don't believe it either for these reason; 七星刀 never take popper as they are bottom feeder. They rarely feed during day time as they are night feeder. They are not predator fish so your popper tents to scare them away rather than to attract their attention. They usually feed only in deep water, so unless you cast a distance away, to what I know the spot (second pillar under MRT track) you fish was less than 3 ft in depth. Correct me if I am wrong.

If you are sure the species hit your popper is 七星刀, than you must be very lucky today. It was a waste you can't post a picture with 七星刀 biting your popper............Or else you will properly writing a new charter in Angler world.

Ha Ha...Maybe it was due to the chemical used by PUB to control the weeds changed the fish behavior. Anyway, hope to tag along with you luring next time.

Ha Ha.....Me fishing for donkey years liao but only recently start to use lure lor. Mostly fishing at BJT using Tamban as bait or offshore fishing lor. Start to fish in LSR using Flies to target PB early this year and changed to lure in recent month. I have a spot in CCK area but fishes mostly 1 feet in length, it's quite small but hit rate quite good sometime. Can bring you there if you want.

actually i like to fish fresh water fishes more than salt water becos last time when i was a kid my dad & uncle always bring me go fishing & tat time s'pore alot of fresh water fishing pond...
last time those old days fishing pond will good they put alot of fish lor...
so tats why i really like fresh water lor..
the best fish i like is TOMAN follow up by 草鱼，松鱼 & 鲤鱼。
