seriously? snakehead population reduced bcoz of pb? where u get tt info from? 'tropedodom google'? or 'tropedodompedia'? or mayb u learn it from naruto comic n watch its anime. i wonder which episode it is. and btw shldnt it be the opposite. pb population gradually reduce due to snakehead being an apex predator and its ability to lay thousands of eggs at 1 go. no wonder in sg there is no pb the size of 5kg and abve that can be found in the amazon bcoz ppl like u are the majority tt rules among us fw anglers. can still be proud of posting. u myte gain mre hatred than admires.

Pb wiping out the toman population is just an excuse. you brings home toman also, so you are also wiping out the toman population. Get a life man, bring home like more than 10 pb, how on earth are you gonna finish them all, so just catch and release man!

Shortage of PB & TOMAN? Biggest culprit is the "ANGLERS" themselves. Stop pointing fingers around & blame each other. Whether anglers practice C&R or Tapao... it doesn't make any difference. We are all indirectly the cause of the shortage of "hook ups". Many would say PB & Toman population drop... Are you a researcher, a scientist or a fish? These fishes exists in sg when all of us are still swimming as SPERMS mind you. In my opinion, the fishes are there & always there... They are getting smarter like us, we intro new lures, techniques or baits... they can counter it over the time. Why flame or gun down each other over in the forum. Real anglers respects each other in a mutual way whether lure or bait, C&R or Tapao. Only jealous & eyesore so called "Anglers" sits behind the CPU as keyboard warriors. Get my drift?

As for TORPEDODOM:
I respect your catches & you deserve the bragging rights.

Even thou i practice C&R on lures but that doesn't make me a "SAINT" to flame, blame baiters or anglers who tapao.

Fishing should make your mind be more calm and patient. Not jealousy and sore eyes! we should enjoy the ways of fishing. Peace, calm and patient will make your life lives better! Person with small heart, jealousy or petty will make your life shorten more.

It is confirmed by our own eyes that the PB are wiping out the Toman, splitting up their fry group, making them less aggressive and changing their whole way of behavious including frequenting certain areas and not appearing in some. Pple who fish kranji and usr will know what im talking about.

There are lots of things that cannot be proven by research but by own observation. Have you seen before a school of easily few hundred pcs of 1-5kg temensis approach a small school of baby toman fry and wipe it out in a few minutes? I have.

We should not be overzealous about the PB. Similarly, we should not go purposely bring back PBs for the sake of the Toman. However bad the 2 fish screw each other, even the most skilled or learned marine biologist will not be able to tell because there are so many factor.

its nt a mere sore eyes or jealousy dude. if thats e case, i wld be going thru all the thread in this forum and find a way to blame. i was admiring n full of respect to dis thread owner until i saw tt specific. u may haf seen hw e pb eats e toman fry bt wldnt a toman do e same? i have seen a toman chase n bit a pb only leaving its head when e pb guarding its nest. haf u? what im trying to say is that it is how animals are. y shld we use it as an excuse. we r nt researcher to judge by seeing what we saw. n u knw how over protective a mama toman is. the only reason i can think of how a pb can wipe out a school of toman fries is when e mama toman is nt avail. killed by other toman? possibly. by us anglers?

Hello... the mama Toman RAN AWAY... That is when the behavorioal part observation of Tomans nowadays come into qn...they no longer are aggresive anymore. They swim away or panic when they see a lure!

These temensis some of them are over 5kg - 10kg hunting in huge groups wiping out the babies. Tomans disperse when they get bigger and the quantity of the temensis/pb is so much more than the Tomans. I personally am seeing more toman fry being pushed out into smaller tributary and being held there for fear of swimming around.

You know wat guys... I seriously don't give a damn, wat TOMAN & PB population or crap reason...

My motive is to "fish" & accomplish the end result of "fishing" by landing whatever hell breeds of fishes.

From the way i see you guys debating about saving this or tat specific breed of population, i was like face palming away. Might as well you guys quit fishing to so called "SWEAR & STICK BY YOUR MOTTO" to save your desired breed of fishes.

The lesser of you guys fishing, the better my hook ups. lol!
