We are back safely!
here is the catch report.

Met up at kranji mrt at 0630hrs.Left about 0700hrs. Luckily the roads were clear and we sped through the customs ,towards the kota tinggi breakfast point.

Breakfast was ok, fairly confusing due to two stalls touting for our patronage. afterwhich was a frenzy in buying snacks and drinks for the kelong stay.

We reached tg leman jetty about 1000hrs. A crowd was gathered at the gate waiting to board the ferry. Bought the tickets and unloaded our stuff near the gate.Missed the first ferry due to too many people, but the second ferry was docked behind the first, so no worries. Very Happy

The sea was very rough out. Whitecaps everywhere and the diesel fumes was quite bad. Some felt sick , while one screamed. Shock lol fortunately the boat was seaworthy and we got on the kelong safely.
Got assigned to the bunk no.12, sort out the sleeping arrangements and started setting up our equipment.

Lunch, dinner and supper was pretty good. The new cook is very good. Homely food and soup. Cool

Most important parts now- fishing and friends.
current was ok for the 1st and 3rd day. the second day was slow.
selars were everywhere, once the frenzy start, you can be sure to hit a few. the fishing holes were packed with anglers and there were some
tangling here and there. but fishing good , no ones complaining.

Met cheok sin with his wife joscelin and son ivan there. they are very good at catching selar. managed to taste selar sashmi with chinchalok sauce. the texture was fantastic. Razz thanks alot! its good fishing with you guys around.

DesT , francis, daz, leon , jonathan and son richard came up on the second day. Jokes and laughter all round. lol singha beer helps. DesT was testing his preserved fish but current slow. so not much todaks.
selar and big eye on noodle rod is quite interesting too. =)

thomas and jennifer got plenty of sotongs to show. selars came in at night too. basically we were so busy fishing, we knocked out by 1am or so. The girls are quite good in fishing. Bernice can even help unhook and pack the selars. quite proud of them. Very Happy

Breakdown on the species caught most by members:
1. Leng jiams by Sapphy on squid.
2. Barracudas by Kian York on tamban jig.
3. Rabbitfish by Bernice on squid
4. Ms Wongs by Kimberly on squid
5. Leather jackets by Muni on squid
6. Selars by Weixiong on squid and prawn
7. Sleep by Jeremy on the bed Laughing

The girls were entertained by the astronomy guru weixiong on the constellations. the clear and dark night sky dazzled us with stars. bernice and weixiong managed to witness a shooting star. Very Happy Kian york lost all his peanuts to bernice and kimberly. hahahahah!

Overall, the trip was clockwork and everything was good. loads of laughter and fun. Only bad parts was no island hopping due to choppy waters and a rather impatient driver. Will organise another trip using coach next time for 20 pax and above~ safer for everyone.

Pictures will be uploaded later. Very Happy

Thanks for reading.
Regards
Humphrey
