Can i use other baits rather than sandworms?

Tried to handle worms but they still give me the creeps... Frustrated

Hi,

Try these sandworms ones and they are alot forgiving since they smaller and less fearful looking. I was just like you afraid of this creepies.

To tell the truth, it was only after seeing Brother's Kamsani 2 childern handle this worms that I pushed myself to try.

Why don't you try using finger cots ( like little condoms ) which give you protection but yet since they are snug over your fingers, you can retain enough sensation on your fingers to bait the hook. I still have a bag of them and your welcome to have them as I have outgrown my worm phobia.

u have the idea there sis maybe i have another one which is more easier.

go to the beach and get those fine sand that not been stain by water, throw the worn like those aunty selling muachi, after that just wash your hand with the water. u will get lesser stain of the worm smell and wont get eerie on it.

just my 2 cents worth Cool

Go NTUC to buy those plastic glove. $1 got 100 pics disposable one. That one is good and cheap when handling with Worms, sarong, wok wok etc.

It's also good to use when you eat Chicket Wing [Nasi lemak] Or Ba Zhang [Dumpling]. Use and throw. Cheap And Good.

Tried using worm and prawn on small hooks last weekend - the swa chiam took the prawn every time. I did catch half beak on the sand worm though.
