Each ferry boat can take up to 12 passengers per trip. each head is S$10 per trip(even kid as young as 3 years old, i think)

Kelong boss has 2 boats driven by the old boss himself and his 2nd son GuoLi.

lets say that if only 4 of us wanted to go to their kelong, and most of the anglers like us will want to leave the Changi Point Ferry terminal jetty as early as possible and if there is no other passenger going to Pengerang then the boss will lose S$80 just to ferry the 4 of us to Pengerang and then to his kelong.
and also for the kelong boss to cook dinner,BBQ,breakfast.. they have to buy ingredient such as big prawn and crab(which need to buy in bulk from their supplier) thus if they buy in bulk then only 4 of us to eat and this the remaining prawn and crab will be wasted, unless you dont mind eating the prawn and crab which were kept in the ice box for 1 week?

Chia Soon kelong is good for those who only want a short 1 night trip . is like half the cost and no transport charge(compared to other kelongs) and the food there hmm hard to say , i will say go there once and taste the food at chia soon kelong. if you want to go to Chia Soon kelong with very few people there then advice you to go on weekday. I just went there 2 friday ago and only 11 of us occupied the whole kelong(excluding the workers).
