1st APRIL SUNDAY

Tommy my regular came with 2 new kakis. Today was the worst day trip of all, Just after less than 5 hours of fishing I called it off & kakis agreed.

WHY ??? NO BITE NO BITE NO BITE.

What a day to start the new month of APRIL. But.. may be it was April fools day lah.....

1st April SUNDAY NIGHT

5 new kakis came for night trip. As today's water was bad, After 4 hours, I knew no point waiting for the rest of the night, I called off also same like day trip today, & kakis all agreed.

However, we landed 2 golden KBL,( 500g & 400g ) 1 grouper ( 350g )& a good solid one but sangkut..............

Trip shorten got discount?

totally agree we were around pulau ubin and pasir ris and saw 2 other boats that had no bites...

3rd April TUESDAY

1. Yes, price will reduce BUT it is case by case basis.

2. NO BITE...............tried Ah Seng's spot, No Bite also.................hahahaha.......................

3rd April TUESDAY

Steven & girl friend came for the first time. We set off at 8.30am

First 4.5 hours, no bite at all. I thought it may be another bad day. Fishes than started to bite & landed. In fact, Ah girl hooked on 2 good once but doesn't know how to yang it up quickly & it went sangkut.

I got 3 solid hook-up too especially the third one, all the way down................Steven saw & he said ,BIG ONE, BIG ONE......... I reeled in it,,, yes, coming up....coming up...& burst line ( leader ) & my other 2, one got sangkut, another burst line too........

All in all it was a lucky day. Kakis were happy also. Me too. Hope to see them again...

6th April GOOD FRIDAY

Mathew & 2 other kakis came last month & they were here today. Forecast of the days was raining with thunder & lighting all over Singapore in the afternoon.

Truly, it came around noon. We stopped at the fish farm until the rain stopped. Catch was very poor than, very little bite.

It was very bad that we almost called off around 3pm, but I tried the last location, it started to land a few more. We were lucky today even though our catch wasn't good, but we were much better than many other boats, yap, we were lucky.

7th April SATURDAY

Jeff, Chris & 3 other kakis, all regulars came today. We went out around 8am+. Went Seletar, No bite. Went for KBL, no bite. Went near to another fish farm, no bite. Went Loyang, One big snapper.............

Than it was about to rain. We went Pasir Ris......... I tried to change to few more locations, looked at what we have landed in the pics.

We did missed 2 very hard pulled & few more missing. All in all, very little biting day. These few days it was kind of bad fishing.............anyway, kakis were nice, hope to see them soon...

8th April SUNDAY

Alvin saw my FK forum & decided to booked a fishing trip with his 3 other kakis today.

We went out around 8.15am. Just like these few days, very little bite. For the whole day, I think it bite less around 10 times.

Alvin hooked up a heavy staff & rod went all the way U shape. ...............Pulled & pumped.........Sangkut lah. He told us the joker was very heavy...... too bad.....

We managed to land some fishes. Not bad sizes I must say, Groupers & Golden KBL....

Hope to see them again soon..... Thanks guys.

9th April MONDAY

JY & friends saw my FK forum & decided to gave it a try on a fishing trip with me today

It had not been easy fishing for about 2 weeks already, When I looked at the water in the morning, I thought it would be another ' not easy ' day.

3 out of 4 were new in boat fishing especially the PRC young man. Talked lot, Some doesn't make sense but funny & nice young fellow.. In fact all 4 of them were very nice young man. All 4 chefs working in the same restaurant.
Rain came few times. Not easy to fish as expected,,..... because NO bite...........

End of the trip, we had some fishes. kakis were happy, Hope to see them again...& thanks for the coffee & makan..............

14th April SATURDAY & 15th April SUNDAY

Today & tomorrow cancelled by kaki. Today was a new kaki. told me father went to Hospital.................

Tomorrow is my regular kaki but cancel once before......

16th April MONDAY

Two kakis came again, especially B. Already few times. When I walked down pier 5 jetty. Water looked good. fishes were swimming everywhere.....good sign..

First location, straight for the KBL. we got it...

For the rest of the day, biting was OK but our landed rate was very good as long as there was a bite.

Things went very bad around noon when it was about to rain. For hours, no bite but turned better when it totally stopped.

All in all, a good day for just 2 kakis. All of us were happy..

20th April FRIDAY

This month booking is very low. As of now , only 10 booking.

Many are afraid of the weather & 'No Bite ' But I know many starting went Malaysia, Indonesia, South China Sea........... How's their catch ?? How's the weather ? Better ask them if you know who....

Tomorrow Saturday KIV no confirm again........22nd Sunday is a fishing day

22nd April SUNDAY

Today is a good day. Edmund brought 2 new kakis, and he was going to take revenge of the " off-hook / throw-hook " KBL on the previous trip.

First & second locations, NO BITE..... than I tried the third, Yes, KBL, 1....2....3......KBL & one good size grouper.

Lunch time, Got another bigger KBL & a grouper. It was a BONUS catch. Later, another KBL.........

We went back one hour early. Everybody were happy. See Edmund next month & June. He always book 2 months.

29th April SUNDAY

Look at the two Big whoppers. It could have been one more whopper KBL but it jumped twice & the third time ................throw hook....

Candy & 4 other kakis, total 5 of them were first time on my baby boat. First two locations, landed GT..Third location, I was closing my eyes having a rest & Candy shouted.." Uncle, you rod, you rod,.... " I looked at my rod, normal... still there...looked ok....but she said : It went all the way down ....." I took out my rod from the holder, man.....the rig gone burst...


Than to the 4th locations..haha....big grouper & other smaller once. To the fifth, this time it was serious, big whopper KBL, big sweet lips..... one KBL when off. few more real solid pull but junior could not handle..........Guessed who was the kaki that landed the Big Whopper....it was Candy, the only girl on board. The line went few times Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz every time she pumped it in. She was good, Handle the whole ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz alone very well ..hahahaha......... I liked it..

It was a god good day. Everyone was very happy. We called it off around 4.15pm. By the time we reach the Marina, it was around 4.45pm already.

30th April SUNDAY Night

Only 4 hours of night fishing with Keith & his friend. As usual, Keith always called me " last minute "

First 3 hours = 0. Than it started to bite......Yes.........Not bad for another 4 hours trip.

1st May MONDAY

Today is Labour day. Today is the first day of the month. Today is also a Super Day for KBL............

4 new kakis, all jokers, came the first time. Water was right. Timing was right, location was right, luck was right..............

First half of the trip, very slow...... Action started around 1.30pm & it went on & on & on.................

It supposed to be 5 to 6 more KBL........ but..............enough lah.........

Everyone went super high & happy, man.... what a super day.........

4th May THURSDAY 2012

K & N were green in fishing especially N ( boy )but they told me they really love to try & learn.....

First time on my boat & we set off early. Went to a few locations & spots, NO BITE.......worst still, heavy rain came.........But to tell you the truth, it was the rain that was fun because it really cool things down.

Around 2pm, the actions started, than it went on steady for a while. Kaki were so happy & excited especially K. She was the girl single handled The big snapper. Not bad at all........

K & N told me they will be back next month. Hope to see them soon.
