I've been going to SG for several years now. In fact, I go monthly. The only fishing related activity I do is go to Beach road.

That was until last month when I finally decided to hit Bottle Tree's Toman pond. Man that was one huge thrill for me. Now I want MORE. Of course, I'll hit that again but now I'm curious about the following:

1.Where is legal to catch peacock bass and tomans in the "wild" in SG? Are reservoirs TRULY lega to fish? Same with canals? I'm sure the "known" and marked fishing areas won't produce but as a foreigner, am I allowed to fish the other areas in the reservoir/canals?

2.Which of the known areas or marked fishing areas can produce Peacocks and Toman?

3.I also want to try pay ponds such as Haussman, Pasir Ris and other recommended ones. Which would be the most fun?

Thanks in advance.

Legal areas in SG.

Lower Pierce reservoir
Upper Seletar Reservoir
Kranji Reservoir

These have been producing fishes, but no guarantees though.

Are these reservoirs "all access" or limited to certain areas within?

None of them are full access.

All of the reservoirs which allow fishing is only within a certain limited area only. Cool
