No fishing for 2 days, went shopping for more fishing accessories & others. Also my doctor's appointment.

03rd Feb FRIDAY

Quite a Good day to start fishing on the month of February 2012.

Super regular JAN came with 2 kakis, one was new kaki.

Went out at 10am +. As usual, this was JAN'S timing.

Few fishes landed with quite good sizes. Than we went picked up one kaki at Changi Village.

Tide was coming up around 3pm. No bite at all till 4.30pm. where the water turned warm. Groupers started biting. More good sizes grouper landed. Everyone was happy.

The saddest issue today was I forgot to bring along my camera & had to use hand phone to take pictures.

Will post out in few days time as I do not have the cable to connect to my PC. Sorry............

04th Feb SATURDAY

TC & 3 other kakis came for the first time.

It was very windy today. Water was very cold. Biting rate was low but we were lucky to land some goodies.

Had lunch at Changi Village. After lunch, the water current slowed down because 3pm was tide coming up.

Again biting was low until about 3.30pm than it started to bite again.

kakis first time tasted many times of sangkut experiences. Sorry my frens, No Sangkut, No Fish Lah

05th Feb SUNDAY

Nick & Father came again. They have been with me for two times already. Only few months backs.

2 large groupers today, the Pearl was about 2kg+ & the smaller one was about 1kg +. The best part of the day was we jig & landed a Batang Mackerel.

Went to KBL spot but no bite. Landed few more groupers. The biggest,hooked-on & pulled + pumped was from my rod, it was so heavy & strong that I had not been encountered for quite a long while. Too bad, No landed, No count


Nick & Dad had booked for March...

06th Feb MONDAY

K T + 3 more kakis, all first time on my baby boat.

First half of the day was almost O. Second half of the days thinks turned better. We were lucky to land a KBL also as the water wasn't that ' Good ' today.

We missed few solid once today also. Kakis knew that. They will be back very soon they told me.

They had booked on the 27th Feb again......

07th Feb TUESDAY

Louis + family + fren came DEC & today they were ready for good catch.

We went out Tekong & Changi in the morning. Landed KBL, MJ, Chermin & others.

Tide turned around noon & things turned bad also. Not until about 2.30pm & got better.

Water wasn't good today also. But I have been blessed by all Good Gods & Sea Dragon King....

The only thing I hope kaki will understand ( Not you Louis )Not every location & Not every spot must have bite or landed fishes....

08th Feb WEDNESDAY

Brayn & 4 other kakis were all first time with me. One young kaki was Virgin in fishing also.

The whole morning was bad. Only caught some small fishes.

Went to take lunch at Changi Village. Kaki went makan & I alone jumped down into the water & clean my boat. After cleaning, I went ashore & rest for few minutes, but I forgot to tied the boat & it drifted away. I had to swim fast like a Big Hippo to catch up my boat & ...man........... almost got heart attack....

Water tide turned down after lunch & it was very strong current. No bite again. I thought of going behind Ubin but I told myself must let the spots rest for a while so I decided NOT to go behind Ubin.

Good decision, the spot that I went let my kakis got real fun & excitement. Almost all the groupers were landed there.

By the way, the smallest fish was about 7 ins in lenth

Another young punk kaki act & talk big deal. A man who TALK BIG, TALK LOUD, TALK BAD..

When we started playing in these waters some 30 plus years ago ( Ubin, Changi... ), many haven't even born yet...DO NOT compare waters & places you fish else where to Ubin, Changi.......even Tuas & Southern side are different from here.

I can tell all kakis in Singapore, you get a snapper 1.5kg / in Ubin /Changi, is Big. But in many other waters & places, is normal or even small. If 4 kaki + me get total 10 nos. ( 2 each ) of 1.5kg snapper in a Ubin / Changi trip, is big deal, in else where, it may be normal ..............

Come tell me straight to my face & my kaki's face. People who know me should know by now, Good catch or bad catch, I will post every trip. I will let all kakis know the truth. unlike many others, how many catch report they show in a month ?? Didn't you realize they only show good CR only ???

I bring kakis to inner shore / waters in Ubin, changi / Loyang, Ponggol, Tekong etc.......to fish & more than 15 to 25 times a month every month, trying my very best to let kakis to have fun & fish, to be happy, to enjoy.......is NO EASY TASK, NO EASY JOB. Is the love of the sun, & sea & the fishing that keeps me going.

By the way, If you can do it like what you did in off shore, other country, & do the same in Ubin /Changi, I will SINK my baby boat in the sea. Your trip was once in a 20 years happening.

You have offended many fishing kakis fishing in Singapore waters. I've received so many calls already after they saw your post. Watch it, they told me they want to " one leg kick you down to the water " in Hokkien dialect version lah.. hahahahahaha..........................

U hv shown no respect to the boatman n kaki tat fished with Uncle Dave! Are u saying all his customers can't get big fishes?

Hw BIG in sizes must the fishes be in order to be considered as BIG?

First time I post here. Ikan billis small also we eat. The fish is big or small is up to the person who caught it whether he wants to keep for food or to release. No offense.

Dave ... don need to be so work up over such pple ... In singapore this is the kind of catch u expect ... If u don like it don go no 1 will force u ... Kakis go to this kind of area is not to catch fishes but jus a form of leisure n relaxation ... If u expect loads of fishes all ard the size u expect then don fish in sg

Dun worry , let the mod handle such cases. I must say that this hacker is a coward without balls. If he can hack and cause dispute for no gain, might as well go find something worthy to do and make $$$.

09th Feb THURSDAY

Super windy & super strong current day.

Regular supporter & fren Joe came with 2 other regular kakis today. Went out 8.30am. Windy started already. Went out to far Tekong, Far Changi, just beside Hundai, NO BITE, no bite, no bite.

After lunch went few more locations inside Ubin areas, No Bite.....

Try my latest location, yes, started biting, only few landed. Biggest about 700-8--g. Buy hooked on & sangkut more than 15 cases. Some were very good pulled. Too bad, Better luck next time frens.

10th Feb FRIDAY

Andy & four others total 4 new kaki today. we set of at around 7am +

It was the same as yesterday or may be worst. NO BITE, no bite, no bite....

Pressure was on me as I wanted by kaki to get fish...... is my job, is what the kaki pay the money for.... After lunch still no bite. tried drifting, NO BITE..........Tried again other spots, NO BITE..................

I told myself have to try the last hope ( NO MORE behind Ubin. Must let it rest )& it worked again. Too bad it was sangkut & sangkut again.......end of the day, only mid & smaller groupers were landed.

Kakis were nice fellows. Hope to see them again.
