Weather was bad 1.5-2m waves and strong wind made casting very tough. The surface action was pretty good and there were many misses, throw hooks and of cos donated at leaat a few hundred dollars worth of poppers due to burst off. Night fishing was good as we were lucky to hit a school of white fish 1-2kg. It was almost LJLJ and we filled 3 ice box by midnight on the first night. Jigs, fish meat, sotong were all working well. Yiwei got his 3kg barracuda chewed into half by a 6ft barracuda and this monster chase the half eaten fish all the way to the surface. Jigging was bad on the first day but second day we caught 5 small GT on jig. Casting of small lure was quite productive as we had many hits on todaks and a bouns blue fin trevally and big eye jack on lure. Overall it was pretty fun and looking forward to the yr end trip plus 2012 trips.
