May I know what's the difference between the old caranx kaibutsu and speedmaster kaibutsu?

both are popping rods and seems to have similar specifications.

Hi,

You can consider a 12k HG spool, it will fit the 8K TP SW as well. It will give you more line cap. Anglers Hut may have it, give them a call.

Cheers!

Hi there,

Looking to purchase either a Twinpower 6000HG or PG.
Was thinking which is more suitable for Rompin fishing?
Does TTC still have stock for this model?
Possible to PM me the retail price for this reel?
How much discount does TTC offer?
What is the price after discount?
Thank you in advance.

Best regards.

Hi alan_ang_1980,

Yes, we do carry both Kaikon EV & Jigger EV. Both can be used for bottom fishing or Jigging. The Kaikon EV have a slightly higher line capacity, Max Drag and more Ball Bearings than Jigger EV. The weight and gear ratios of both reel are about the same. Jigger EV is a better choice to pair with Jigwrex.

Please visit our Shimano Shop-In-Shop (Tan Thong Cheong) or Shimano Dealer Direct for the prices.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Brazino,

I guess you will like to fish for Sailfish in Rompin. I will recommend Twinpower 6000HG for popping fishing as Sailfish usually swim on the surface of water.

Please visit Tan Thong Cheong for the availability and the prices.

Thanks & Regards
