seriously, if not for the "cold" water (cold for this part of the world?), I thought Kim would have had a good chance at a Chermin with his shrimp-flies....they look so much like the real thing, I would have fried them if i found them in my fridge!

Sorry, i meant on Sun. So thats why i saw a white focus estate parked at a corner lot when i reached there with another buddy ard 9am. Its ur ride rite? We left ard noon and your car was still there.

Only managed to catch one juveline tripod fish before heading back (fishing from one of the breakwaters).

See you ard again next time.

That's me alright. We started 6am and ended 2pm. I wasn't surprised your catch isn't good that day...the water was super cold for our region. The fishfinder showed schools of Ikan Bilis (Anchovies), which surfaced periodically. I find that more of these fish show up than Tamban (Herring) when the water is cold.

Eugene,

Thanks so much for a fun day on the water on the 31st, once again! I know that we'll knock the stuffing out of them another time when the water warms up a bit and we hit a little more structure. Loved your post of the outing, and have added mine to two other fishing websites to fill in some other details of the day. You guys can check out the posts at http://www.fishingjapan.net/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2372 or at http://www.heartbeat-music.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=2908 The story's the same, excepting one uses Photobucket for the pictures and the other includes them as attachments. Hope you don't mind that I borrowed your pics to add to mine. See you next time I get down your way, and thanks again! Happy New Year! Very Happy

Kim
