Semakau Catch Report on 14th Jan 2007 and 4th Feb 2007

Looks like we have a very good start for 2007, Dave of "Lure Haven", have been to almost every Semakau trip that SFAS organised, you can check it out some of his catch report "Catalyst & The Bunch CR"

Year 2007 1st trip on 14th Jan
The water were cold and it was over cast all day, but Dave still have his catch, a good size GT.

2007, 2nd Semakau Landfill fishing trip.
The weather have improved so have the fishing, every anglers managed to hit fish, but not every fish can be landed, Kibe a Semakau regular hit a unstopable Giant grouper, Semakau first timer also manage to land a nice size Queen and GT.

Less then 10mins arriving Dave landed a Parrot fish at cell 3


10mins later another Parrot was landed


Cold water and over cast sky during the morning only Parrot were feeding, and they hit on any thing, even on a big lure


When the sky starts to break, the sun start to warm up the water, Kibe hit a unstopable Giant grouper, that spooled him

This was his first visit, and he worked very hard and it pays off with a good size queen


Luck is not necessarily needed in Semakau, Skill, Knowledge and Hard work is all you need



Next Semakau Sport fishing trip will be on 3rd March 2007, Registration date start from 5th Feb 2007 closing date on 26 Feb 2007.
