Hello David,

I haven't been to Labrador Park for a long time but I do know that people do fish there. It is a nice place to chill out and picnic and spend quality time with family so wishing you fun with your kid. Hope that you do land something for your kid to remember throughout his growing up years. Smile

Cheers!

Those damn voices are telling me to go fishing again! If I don't, they won't stop!!

if im not wrong the jetty itself is closed. but people still surfcast beside the jetty and there are no "No Fishing" signs unlike West Coast Park. on the other end facing keppel island there also can fish from shore all the way until the new "boardwalk"

The jetty at the end is closed for 'public safety'. There are always people fishing in Labrador. The area near to the Boardwalk towards the MRT is more favorable in terms of land conditions, it's near to the toilet.

The coast along the park are mostly breakwater structures, either u go down (not recommended with kids of cos) or u have to cast far, but chances of getting ur tackle snagged in the rocks are high.
