Hi! Sienna knob is factory fitted. So your aceration knob will not be able to fit into a sienna.

Hi Shimano,

Any rod to recommend to pair up with the Aceration 6000PG? (Not Bluerose as got budget constraint). Kindly indicate the RRP as well.

Will be using it for SCS & Maldives trip.

You can pair it with the beastmaster Jigging, both 165 or 183 is a good match.

Hi. 165 comes in PE 1-2 and 183 comes in a 2 types, PE 1-3 and PE 2-4. Have to depend on the type of action you eventually choose. Please check out with our local Shimano dealers to view the rod. =)

Does this reel come with cold forge gear? If not then please advise what type of gear is it using? How powerful/strong is it compare to CF Gear.

Aceration 4000 Knob defect
Hi Shimano,

Went to rompin trip recently last month & my frd was using Aceration 4000.
The knob of the handle came out while reeling in. We thought this was a one iff incident & laughed abt it.

Last week, we went fishing at the southern islands in Singapore.
One of my frds & I were both using Aceration 4000.
Guess what?! Both our knobs came out as well! My frds reel was recently bought & used only 2 times!

Did Shimano receive feedback on this defect before?
I been a long time supporter of shimano & was very happy with my Aceration until I had this problem.
In fact, I own 2 Acerations.

Hi Lucky,

Need to confirm, did you change the handle knob? Many didnt know that when remove the screw that secure the knob, one need to reapply the loctite.

If no, pls send your reel to any of our direct dealer or TTC and we can check what is the fault

I came across the Acceration SW4000 on the shelf at the outlet.
Can tell me does it have a loud drag noise ?
I am looking for a spinning reel with a loud drag noise.
