1st June FRIDAY

Today is the first day of the month JUNE.

Zach with sister who came on my boat before brought 2 new friends today.

We went out at 8am plus. To the first spot near f1sh farm. Ah girl got a good pull all the way down & sangkut.........Than to the second spot also near the fish farm. This time was me who had a big pulled all t6he way down & sangkut....damm damm 2 times...

I went to the third location. It was already noon, Still " 0 "
Than it started to bite, landed.......another spot.. landed also.

Action came to a total stop around 2.30pm till 4.15pm.....No Bite....had to call it a day.

Not very bad, quite OK. lah

2nd June 2012 SATURDAY

C.W. came few weeks ago & brought his brother, girl fren & one more male kaki today.

For the whole day, biting rate was very low. Rain came in the early morning, but only a quick one. I've tried many locations & still not successful.

Second half, looked good at the beginning as we landed KBL, grouper but again no bite for very long. Changed to last spot it was time to go home but Ah girl requested last 10 minutes, I said OK & within 5 minutes she hooked on a very good size GT & reeled in by herself....Not bad at all........

3rd June 2012 SUNDAY

Boon & Chris were here just 2 weeks ago & today they brought 2 new kakis.

We went out at 8am. Straight to try KBL. ...When I told the kakis " OK, go fishing "........ kakis dropped line...3 seconds , big big pulled all the way down. Sinker not even hit the sea bed yet.....10 seconds, another kaki super solid pulled...all the way down also....
2 kakis tried to pump up, too heavy....pulled down again..... tried pumped again... still very strong...suddenly, one line burst, one all the way sangkut...............

Then it was my turned, fish on...strong, I pumped, off hooked, try a new prawn immediately, 3 seconds , bite again....hooked on....I pumped again...yes...got it.....suddenly....throw hook again.....

Then again a very strong pulled from another kaki, this time it was serious, kaki did not pump because it was too strong & kept on pulling the rod down...kaki was hanging on......then....throw hook again.......

All these happened less than 15 minutes......After that, I told kakis it would be all gone....we had a few small bites & it went SAYONARA means good-bye. No bite all the way............

Went drifting, hooked up 5 Mr. Seng, big record on my baby boat. I hooked up 3 by myself. The last two was so strong we taught it was something else.... but dammmmmmmmmmmm no big fishes but big Ah Seng

Went behind Ubin, I caught 2 more Ah Seng again. I told kakis if I would get another one more, they should call me Uncle Seng, not Uncle Dave. luckily, I did not get anymore........but it was no bite......

Tried last spot, I hooked on a GT, good fight...pulled near the boat * suddenly, a huge barracuda came from no where & bite on the GT. It was so strong the gangster barracuda banged & splashed so loud onto my boat. One kaki saw the whole incident & shouted, it was big.... man....... See the GT head that he was holding in the picture. Reminded me on the big snapper incident many months back 29th Sept 2011 by a huge gangster also.

Anyway, despite all the commotions, the CR was not so good, Kakis were happy. They will come back for the revenge next month.

4th June 2012 MONDAY ( Night )

B & family came trying night fishing today. We went out around 5.45pm. Went to my lucky spot. A lot of small bites. Current was strong as today was Chinese lunar date 15th. Landed a sweet lips & small snapper.

Changed to my favorite night spot for KBL................ yes, B hooked on one , pulled in, I wanted to get the net for him but he tried to pulled up the line...KBL twisted & " Bye Bye "...drop back to the sea............

I told kakis many times, KBL MUST use net to net it in & up. Tried again, yes, this time it was big, rod all the way down,B tried to pulled & pumped, fish tried to pulled & down......I got the net ready & finally, it was landed....... yeah....Big KBL.

After the KBL, no bite for long again, Tried a new KBL spot, no bite...tried last spot, landed smaller fishes & eel.......times up, had to call it a night. Total 4 hours trip.

9th June 2012 SATURDAY

C W came with 3 kakis today. He was just here last week. One were new to my baby boat. We supposed to go out at 9am, but I realized my battery was a little weak so I borrowed a spare one just in case...

Went to the first location, The engine could not start up. Luckily we were on our fishing spot already. I told the kakis to start fishing & I changed the current battery to the spare battery,..... could not start up too. I called to the marina & happened my friend was coming out so I asked him to buy a new battery & on the way passed it to me....

Fishing a little slow. Small snapper & ......hello....KBL landed.....not so bad. But it was only only C W who had bite. All the rest included myself was NO BITE or free feeding for small fishes.....

New battery came....still could not start up. It was the starter of the engine had problem, not the battery. Had to call for help to tow back to marina. All kakis still fishing but no bite already. I felt extremely bad & kept on apologized to them.

Help came, tow back to marina smoothly. Kakis were very nice & still pay me half the cost of the trip...man,......These guys were super nice to me as I told them no charge for today,,, They told me no worries & said they'll be back, especially C W.

Thank you my frens, I owe you guys. Not forgetting TIM the American fish farm owner ( my partner )who tow us all the way back...Must buy beer for him....

Have to cancelled today's trip due to engine could not fire up.

14th June 2012 THURSDAY

Joe has not been on my boat for quite a while. Today he & 3 more kakis came for 4 hours trip. Good to see him again.

We went out at 2pm sharp. No more prawns at Ponggol Marina so we had to go Ubin untie to buy.

To the first spot immediately. Couldn't see all my floating markers so I had to anchor down. Yes...KBL landed....grouper landed. Second spot, sweet lips landed & that was it.....

Until 6.30pm which I extended half hour for them, had to call it a day. Only small grouper & cat fish landed on the second half. Other than that, no bite. We could not hit the fish feeding time.

Two new young kakis were very nice. One of them told me in Mandarin " No worries, we'll be back next month "... Yes.thank you guys

16th June 2012 SATURDAY

Jeff & friends came today. Haven't seen them for few months.

First spot, tried KBL but no luck, because no bite. To second location, few groupers landed. Then to drifting, No luck no bite again. To the third, no bite again....

Water was very bad, very dirty & funny colour, not normal sea water colour, you know what I mean.

Went behind Ubin, no bite again on KBL spot. Tried Kelong, few groupers landed, too small, I put them to fish farm.

All kakis were getting tired as it was quite hot & no bite. Tried the last location, waited & waited......yes, 2 GT landed...had to call it a day after that..........Thanks guys, see you soon.

17th June 2012 SUNDAY

E.T. & Friend came at 8.20am. I went straight to try GT, yes, landed one. Second spot not accurate because sonar went off, anchored on muddy ground & Ah Seng landed.

Went to No.3 location, big KBL & one grouper landed..yes..... Than was lunch time, went to a super grouper spot, landed.........fat groupers.


Last location, landed S.ray & E.T landed KBL & snapper....Not bad for the day. E.T. so happy, we went back 2.30pm. Very early.

E.T will be back in July. yeh..................

20th June 2012 WEDNESDAY

New kaki Brandon brought another 2 new kakis today. We went out slightly late.

Not much biting but we managed to get some good size fishes, especially the big grouper. I gave it to the senior kaki & he was very happy.

Hope to see them again.

I had many enquiries on the fish farming.

After more than 6 months of planning, we are finally make it official to all kakis :

You are invited to invest a small capital of min $5,000.per batch of fish per 10 months to experience fish farming. The returns of the investor per batch after 10 months shall be around 20% +/-. Which means if you invest $5k, after 10 months you shall received around $1k + your initial capital of $5k. If you invest $10k, after 10 months you shall received around $2k + your initial capital of $10k. Is simple.

You may like to start a new batch again & it goes on after 10 months. You may also start a new batch at anytime. You do not have to wait after 10 months to start a new batch of investment.

Investors are allow to visit our fish farm once a month with free boat transport. If you have a boat or boat transport yourself, you may visit the fish farm during daytime on any day but you must let us know before you plan to pay a visit. We have to make sure someone is there.

Kindly call me for more details. Simple conditions do apply. Fish farming, we make it easy for you.

21st June 2012 THURSDAY

New kaki Bernard from Indonesia brought his family today. They have been here for seven years. All very new new in fishing, especially boat fishing. Bernard even inspect my baby boat one day before the trip. Safety cautions because of his 2 kids.

Today's bite was worst than yesterday. Plus all new in fishing also. managed to get few bites & landed.

Bernard's wife brought a lot of food & we had a good lunch at the fish farm. Thank you very much my fren. Hope all of you enjoy the trip today.

23rd June 2012 SATURDAY

Mel & all other kakis were my regulars, but today Mel brought his wife also.

Biting rate was better than yesterday. Missed 5 good once. One KBL twisted off hook & Bye Bye. 4 big bites happened almost together & all kais pumped in & The fish pulled down & away very strong. About 10 to 15 seconds, 3 burst lines & one landed. It was GT.

Had some others fishes landed. All in all it was OK for today. See them next month.

24th June 2012 SUNDAY

4 new kakis came with no boat fishing experience. I told them today would be more on learning all the basic more than fishing.

Told & taught them step by step, but when actual fishing started,..........no bite. I was very disappointed, not with the kakis but NO BITE. I wanted so much if all the kakis could pull up some good fishes to get the feeling of fish biting & pulling.

I brought them to the fish farm & try to fish from my net...BIG GROUPER, mostly above 1kg to 2kg. Kakis had fun holding the rod when the groupers tried to pulled it down. I think they had great fun. But the groupers must be released & put back in the net immediately.

Second half of the trip, still bad. Had to call it off early. The water was very very bad. All kakis that fish these few days around Changi & Ubin would have experienced the same thing.................NO BITE.

Kakis were nice, hope to see them again.

25th June 2012 MONDAY

Ken brought 2 kakis today, one regular & one new kaki. Went to first location to tied water bottle marker. Than to the second location & started fishing..........only small snappers...well better than no bite....

Went third location, things started to look good, in fact, for the whole trip, better than pass few days.

Ken & friends were happy & booked for next month...

28th June 2012 THURSDAY Night Fishing

Went with regular for 4 hours night fishing. Started at 8.30pm.

Lots of small fishes disturbed the prawns. Hooked on a KBL but it was to clever to jump & twist & " Bye - Bye ". End of day. Cuttle fish, Gurama,Cat fish, small snapper & a jumped away KBL......
